Meet The BEW Team
Bruce Weiner
FOUNDER
I am a born and bred New Yorker. I was born in Mount Sinai hospital and raised in the Upper West Side. I attended JFK High School and Lehman College. I started being an entrepreneur early in life. Starting with a newspaper route and graduating to selling piña coladas as a street vendor. This drive for business ownership and customer service was in my blood as my parents were in real estate and both established highly successful agencies in Manhattan.
My current profession started at MetLife in 1996. I have always appreciated this time as it established a training and learning goal that I still hold today. My first wife Rhonda was a joyful part of my life and we shared the happy birth of my daughter Halley. Sadly, we lost her much too young. Along with my knowledge and training, this experience made me realize the importance of protecting yourself and your family.
The BEW difference unlike most insurance firms is our focus on life and health insurance. We believe the foundation of a solid financial plan begins with protecting our assets. One of the most misunderstood segments of coverage is health insurance. An unforeseen illness or accident can wreak havoc on our entire financial plan. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and grandkids, exploring new places, and playing spades.

This girl is Cuban-born and proud. I came to the USA as a baby and lived in NJ for over 30 years with a side trip to Texas in between. I attended high school and the University of Houston (Go Phi Slamma Jamma) and graduated with a BS in marketing from St Peters College in Jersey City NJ.
I married my love and happily started our little family with my sweet stepdaughter Halley. Our family is growing as I am now Gigi to Rose and Cayden who always fill me with joy. After working at Verizon for many years I wanted to start a new path in life and joined my husband at BEW. I have been learning, growing, and eager to grow our mission to help families protect themselves with a solid protected foundation and grow a strong financial future.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, shopping, and the Jersey shore.

We believe that our clients deserve more than large corporate agencies could offer.
